The Walton Independence Day 5K is back on July 4th!! Join us on Monday, July 4th for the Walton Independence Day 5K, 1-Mile Walk, Competitive 5K Walk or Free Firecracker Run (500 Meters for ages 11 and Under)! This Race benefits The American Legion Post 418.

Monday, July 4, 2022
Check-in and Race Day Registration: 6:30 AM-7:45 AM 
Free Kids Firecracker Run: 8:00 AM
5K Run/Walk and Competitive Walk Start: 8:15 AM 
1-Mile Walk Start Time: 8:20 AM

ENTRY FEES/DEADLINES

5K Run/Walk: $20 on or before June 30/ $30 on or after July 1

5K Competitive Walk: $20 on or before June 30/ $30 on or after July 1

1-Mile Walk: $20 on or before June 30/ $30 on or after July 1

Firecracker Run for Kids 11 and Under: FREE (Pre-registration not required)

Online registration is available until Friday, July 1 at 12:00 PM

Please register by Monday, June 20 to guarantee a commemorative t-shirt.

 

AWARDS

Commemorative shirts to all participants who register before the shirt cutoff!

Awards will be give to the following:

Top male and female overall in the 5K Run and Walk. 

Top male and female in the following age groups:

12 and Under
13-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70 and Over
